Nolaon Industries acquires the HONOR companies
Blaricum, the Netherlands, 26 August 2026 — Nolaon Industries has expanded its investment portfolio with the acquisition of three companies: HONOR Piëteitstechniek B.V., HONOR Safety & Consultancy B.V. and HONOR AdventureTech B.V. (together "HONOR").
These are three specialised technical manufacturing companies based in Almere that, since 1948, have developed, manufactured, inspected and sold worldwide products and services in the fields of, respectively, cemetery equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment for climbing and adventure parks.
The names, brands and identity of all three companies remain unchanged, as do the teams that serve customers every day.
Three companies, three niches
HONOR Piëteitstechniek is the market leader in the Netherlands and Flanders in products and services used at cemeteries before, during and after funerals, so that the ceremony can take place in a dignified, safe and ergonomic way.
HONOR Safety & Consultancy develops, manufactures, installs and inspects PPE such as premium fall protection, descent devices and systems for safely entering confined spaces and rescuing people from them.
HONOR AdventureTech supplies, under the STAR-belay brand, auto belay devices (climbing wall devices: fall protection with an automatic descent function) and, under the ZIP-brake brand, braking systems for ziplines, to the (sport) climbing market, adventure parks and zipline sites.
All three companies are ISO 9001:2015 certified. In addition, the products, systems and manufacturing of HONOR Safety and HONOR AdventureTech are Notified Body (NoBo) certified in accordance with the relevant European legislation and standards.
Nothing changes for customers
Customers can count on the same people, the same service and inspection arrangements and the same quality standard as before. To make the transition as smooth as possible, the selling entrepreneur and owner, Jon Westerweel, will remain involved with HONOR Piëteitstechniek and its sister companies as an adviser in the period ahead.
